The Top 5 Reasons Life Time is a Total Game Changer | Bergen Moms Network

What is one of the biggest reasons you don’t get to workout enough? Time? Distance? For me, it’s what do I do with my children? I have three kids under four and finding someone to watch them while squeeze in a pilates class or quick run on the treadmill never seems to line up. I’m so glad I discovered Life Time and their Kids Program, not only is their equipment state of the art, but their facilities are so family friendly (and clean!) that it makes going to a health club a fun morning out rather than a stressful experience.

Here are the top 5 reasons I love the Life Time Kids Program:

1: THE KIDS PLAY AREA
The Kids Play Area brings kids center to a whole new level. Separated by age groups, Life Time offers kids programing for children 3 months to 12 years old. They don’t just watch your children, they have designed programs that keep you little ones active and having fun, all within a safe and enriching environment. They encourage your child to discover a passion for fitness early by engaging them in sensory play, tumbling, obstacle courses and even beginner exercises to build strength and balance!

2: EVENTS
Life Time understands parents need a break too. On top of their super fun family events (think pool parties, dances and games), they offer drop off events too! Let me repeat: DROP. OFF. EVENTS. From Parents Night Out to Holiday Parties – you leave the kiddos at a fun and safe event, while you have a date night. That’s right – you don’t even have to stay and work out for these. Total gamechanger.

3: CERTIFICATIONS
I know my children, even the baby, are always in safe hands at Life Time because all of their teachers and program developers go through the highest level of background checks and completes their certification course. They also hire local teachers and instructors to lead their programs so I know my children are receiving the best care from people who are passionate about what they do.

4: UPDATES
Life Time has a whole Kids Section on their website dedicated to keeping you up to date on all the new programs and activities. If that wasn’t enough you can sign up for email updates as well – and in 2020 they will even be introducing online registration to really bring the gift of time to you.

5: CAMP
If the daily programs and monthly events weren’t enough – Life Time also offers camp! Children are invited to explore, play and grow at camp, while each week a new lesson plan is offered including the importance of physical fitness, healthy eating and STEAM programs. On top of summer camp, Life Time also has day camps for when schools are closed and you need an activity to get the energy out. #momwin
