Hi Yenny! Where are you from originally and how long have you lived in town?
My family is originally from the beautiful country of Colombia. I was born and raised in Englewood. I have been living near Bergen Mall since 2014.
Do you have children?
Yes! I have two daughters, Zoe is 5 years old and Zuly is 4 years old.
What is your favorite thing to do with your kids?
My girls love undivided attention so making the most of our time means doing our favorite things. We are artsy, so we head to our local craft store to purchase our weekly crafts to create fun art & painting projects for the week.

Why is this so important?
As a mother I can truly understand the daily struggles of finding work and life balance. It often feels like an impossible task to try to juggle all our responsibilities. However, having my own business has given me the flexibility of schedule. As a mom we know life is unpredictable and full of unexpected challenges this is one of the reasons why having my own business is important as well as the power to connect with something that speaks to my soul.

If you could give one tip to fellow moms, what would it be?
Considering taking the leap and exploring a career or passion that really speaks to you, can be an incredibly fulfilling experience. I also understand it can be a difficult balance while still managing parenting. So, here is a tip that has helped me – create a plan. It can be as simple or detailed as you’d like and don’t get discouraged. It’s normal to feel overwhelmed by all the responsibilities that come with being a mom and getting in a business venture. Give yourself grace and celebrate even the smallest successes.
What is one thing people would be surprised to know about you?
I was certified as a massage therapist!
How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?
A strong community should feel connected to the people behind the business through the content and conversations. The connection and relationships built have been instrumental in fostering loyalty. Through community loyalty I have growth encouragement and brand awareness.
