Yoga for the Soul at Bergen Town Center (FREE)

Get ready to strengthen your mind and body at Bergen Town Center! Join us for free Yoga for the Soul and let us help you ease anxiety, melt stress, and unwind every Saturday morning.

Dates:

🌺March Sessions: 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th (classes will be held inside)

🌺April Sessions: 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th

🌺May Sessions: 4th, 11th

Time: 9AM

Location: Rooftop: 5th level parking garage. For easy access to rooftop yoga, please park in the parking garage, Level 4, Lot A (purple level) and take the elevator or stairs up to Level 5.

If weather is cold or brainly location will move to lower level outside Management office (Next to Nordstrom Rack Interior Entrance)

*Yoga mats will not be provided

Get to Know Your Instructor: Kirsten Lane

Kirsten discovered yoga while she was still pursuing her career as a professional ballet dancer. Yoga and meditation not only helped her become stronger and more flexible but helped relieve some of the stress and anxiety associated with her dance career and life in general. She became increasingly passionate about the mind, body, spirit connection as a means to heal herself and others. Her passion continued to grow under the tutelage of Alan Finger and Jean Koerner of ISHTA yoga, where she received her 500 hr teaching certificate. “Ishta” in Sanskrit means individualized or personalized.

Kirsten’s classes incorporate a gentle flow that moves with the breath and focuses on alignment to build strength and flexibility in a safe healthy environment. She encourages her students to modify the practice to suit their individual needs, whether it be to simplify or challenge themselves more. Kirsten has been teaching and sharing her love of yoga with students of all ages and levels for last 18 years. She believes that even just a few minutes of yoga every day can improve one’s quality of life.
