Wild About Animals at Liberty Science Center

The signs of spring are starting to appear: flower buds, warmer weather, rain showers. But our favorite sign of spring is the arrival of new animals!
At LSC’s Wild About Animals celebration, you can let a butterfly land gently on your finger in the Butterfly House or watch chicks peck their way into the world in the Chick Hatchery (mid-April). When our friends from the Honky Tonk Ranch visit from March 27 – April 7, you can pet a fuzzy alpaca, sheep, donkey, or rabbit. On April 13 – 14, Two By Two Animal Haven will bring a kangaroo joey, a colorful parrot, and more animal friends!
We’ll also have meet-and-greets with our LSC animals, science demonstrations, an animal scavenger hunt, special theater and planetarium shows, and more surprises throughout the month!
Wild About Animals happens from March 27 to April 28, and all animal activities are included with admission.
