I started drinking green smoothies and juices a few years ago and I absolutely LOVED the way they made me feel; more energy, better skin, improved digestion and mental clarity. Then, like with most things, life got in the way, and I fell back into my coffee habit, eliminating those extra greens. I’m happy to say I recently started drinking them again and it feels AH-MAZING.
They are surprisingly easy to make, and really versatile. If you have a good blender, you don’t even need a juicer! For more of a smoothie consistency I like to add in a banana, some almond milk and lots of ice and throw it in the blender.
Here are some of my favorite ingredients but have fun with it and adjust to your taste! Then be prepared to reap the benefits of how great you feel.
