Owner Anastasia Baker’s artistry stems from her love of film from the 60s through 80s, to her grandfather’s anecdotes about life growing up in cosmopolitan Constantinople of yesteryear.” The bold imagery, colors, textures, and scents became Anastasia’s inspiration for her craft.
Prior to opening her business, Anastasia graduated with a degree in filmmaking with a minor in business, and did a summer program in Urbino, Italy for Art History. This eventually led her to be working on sets on hit television shows such as ‘Smash” and featured in publications such as People Magazine and the National Herald. She has also dipped into the glamorous world of fashion, most notoriously working as a project manager of one of the world’s most highly regarded events: the Metropolitan Museum of Art Gala. She’s also produced events for Vogue, Anna Wintour, Dolce and Gabbana, Marc Jacobs, Balenciaga, Valentino, Tory Burch, Conde Nast, KCD, The New York City Ballet, Ian Schrager, Oscar de la Renta, and Hermes…just to name a few!

At Field Station: Dinosaurs we’re saying good-bye to boring, uninspired birthday parties and inviting your child into an outdoor Paleozoic world of mystery, learning and unforgettable thrills. Every party includes admission to the Field Station and its dramatic dinosaur-lined trails, a knowledgeable party planner designated to your group, and VIP seating at an Amphitheater show. Each birthday boy and girl get a photo opportunity with The Mighty T-Rex and the guest of honor receives a special hat to remember his or her incredible trip back in time. Each guest receives an age-appropriate gift as a thank-you for sharing this special day with your child.

The Flavor Labs is a nut-free cooking studio where children can experiment with food while having fun. Join us in our 2,200 square foot space for classes, camps, private sessions and parties!
For parents looking for a unique birthday party idea, The Flavor Labs hosts parties for children ages 6 and up. Younger children spend 90 minutes making a dessert from scratch (like 6 cupcakes each!) as well as their own personal pizza. Children have time to eat and sing happy birthday before taking their remaining desserts home to share with their families. For older children, a friendly competition like “Chopped” or “Nailed It” is a popular party theme, especially for teenagers. Children of all ages love to celebrate and express their creativity in the kitchen with their friends in an intimidation-free space.

Jodi Jackman is the owner and designer at SugarBoards by JJ. She graduated from Syracuse University with dual majors in Business and Psychology. In addition to running SugarBoards by JJ, Jodi is co-founder and owner of Decision Drivers, a market research company with locations in New Jersey and New York City. Jodi resides in New Jersey with her husband Dave, and their daughter Mackenzie (who is also Sugarboards by JJ’s Chief Taste Tester!).
Sugarboards by JJ launched in 2020 when Halloween couldn’t be celebrated in the usual way. Jodi created a candyboard for Mackenzie as a Halloween treat that was super cute, and also safe. She posted a pic of this curated candyboard to Instagram, and the requests for candyboards came pouring in. The rest, as they say, is history!
