NJ Aviation Hall of Fame: Open Cockpit Experience

April 23 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Visitors will again have the opportunities to sit in the cockpit of a very rare Lockheed Bushmaster plane, a M*A*S*H Bell 47 helicopter made famous during the Korean War.
See the cabin of the world’s only surviving restored cockpit of the Martin 202 airliner. You can also visit inside the HH52A, U.S. Coast Guard rescue helicopter. Also, on display are the Bell AH-1 Cobra helicopter and the OV-1A Mohawk observation/attack aircraft. As well as other aviation cockpits including our newest exhibits a General Aviation Trainer (G.A.T-1) and a Glider recently donated by Jersey Ridge Soaring.
Also popular with young people is our official Airport Rescue Firefighter Truck! For young astronauts, we have our working display of the International Space Station (ISS) along with uniforms and items used by the many Astronauts like Buzz Aldrin, Scott and Mark Kelly, to name just a few
