Batter up! Ringwood Manor is calling all baseball fans to come see America’s favorite pastime played according to 19th century rules and regulations. Watch the Flemington Neshanocks take on the Elizabeth Resolutes! Both teams play following the rules established in 1873 and wear typical 19th century baseball uniforms.
Can’t stay for the whole day? No problem- it’s a double header! The first pitch is tossed out for a game beginning at 11:00am and a second at 1:00pm. Games take place in the field next to parking lot B at Ringwood Manor.
Free and open to the public! Bring your chair, a blanket, your picnic lunch, and cheer on your favorite team. We invite the public to come see how the game of baseball has evolved over 125 years!
Sponsored by the North Jersey Highlands Historical Society.
